  2.                         DocuDraftr Document Assembly System

  4.          The use or sale of the DocuDraftr system is governed by the 
  5.          copyright and licensing information in the FMHELP.MSG file and 
  6.          below.  Please read these carefully!  You can create and modify 
  7.          forms libraries for the system using any word processor capable 
  8.          of producing an ASCII file with spaces before the carriage return 
  9.          of lines within paragraphs.

  11.          The author uses WordStar, in non-document mode, to create and 
  12.          maintain libraries but highly recommends the use of the shareware 
  13.          Video Display Editor, VDE, by Eric Meyer of Boulder, Colorado for 
  14.          that purpose.  That program uses the same syntax for ending lines 
  15.          within paragraphs as is used in the DocuDraftr libraries.  It is 
  16.          an OUTSTANDING ASCII file editor plus a whole lot more!

  23.          PCLB.EXE   - The Program to create, maintain & print libraries.

  25.          VIEW.EXE   - The utility program for viewing files.

  31.                        COPYRIGHT AND LICENSE INFORMATION

  33.          The DocuDraftr programs, libraries and manuals are copyrighted 
  34.          1990-91 William W.  Blackledge, with all rights reserved world- 
  35.          wide.  They may not be circulated in any incomplete or modified 
  36.          form, nor sold for profit, without written permission of the 
  37.          author.  DocuDraftr system use is subject to the following:
  38.  
  39.              PROFESSIONAL, COMMERCIAL AND REGULAR USERS' LICENSES.
  40.  
  41.          Any individual, firm, company or institution using the DocuDraftr 
  42.          system regularly or in a professional or commercial way agrees to 
  43.          pay a $99.95 license fee for use of the programs on the first 
  44.          computer on which they are in use, plus a charge for use of the 
  45.          forms libraries of $1.50 per page.  For multiple, or networked, 
  46.          computer installations the license fee for use of the programs 
  47.          on the additional computers shall be as follows:

  56.   A licensee of the system receives several benefits:

  58.       *  A copy of the latest version of the DocuDraftr system and the 
  59.          selected forms libraries, on disk, direct from the author.
  60.                         (Specify 5 1/4" 360k or 3 1/2" 720k disks.)

  62.       *  Support.  You can get help with any questions or problems you 
  63.          have using DocuDraftr and its libraries.  Future upgrades and 
  64.          additional libraries can be ordered on disk when desired.

  66.       *  No piracy worries.  Employees of licensees may use DocuDraftr for 
  67.          personal matters at home at no charge.

  70.                               PERSONAL USE.
  71.  
  72.          Individuals may freely use DocuDraftr on home computers for 
  73.          personal matters but not regularly, professionally, or com- 
  74.          mercially.  There is no required fee for this type of use.  
  75.          Individual users who find the system useful are encouraged to 
  76.          register their copy:

  80.   The user who registers receives several benefits:

  90.          development of high-quality, affordable software.

  92.       *  Future forms libraries will be made available for personal use by 
  93.          registrants at one-half the usual charge ($.75 per page).

  106.          The author of the DocuDraftr System  is a  retired lawyer  who is 
  107.          licensed to practice in  the states  of Oklahoma  and Texas.   He 
  108.          learned to program microcomputers in BASIC, ASSEMBLER and C after 
  109.          retirement from active practice, which led to the development  of 
  110.          DocuDraftr for improved efficiency in document preparation.
